Late Breaking Results

By popular demand, PETRA 2021 is announcing a new special session called LATE BREAKING RESULTS (LBR). LBR results are preliminary, presenting new unpublished and promising ongoing work which has not been published before. Submissions are abstract only. The conference program will allocate a separate session for LBR presentations as posters and will include accepted LBR submissions in its printed program and in its ACM Digital Library Proceedings. LBR submission and attendance has the same requirements as paper submissions.

Benefits of a Late Breaking Results submission

The LBR session is different from poster submissions as follows:

  1. While a shorter and a later in time submission, it enables authors to be invited for full paper submission after the conference by the MDPI technologies special journal issue
  2. It enables authors to participate in the conference as regular paper authors, receiving the visibility of paper and poster submissions. Optional: abstracts can attach a link to a video of the presentation.
  3. A new award, the Most Promising LBR Award will be given to the best LBR paper.
